1. Frank:

I used MDI for 28 years until one day I spoke to a group of High School Students with diabetes. I was 46 and really had no desire to pump. My wife had been discussing it (while I ignored her for years). That day I was the only PWD without a pump in the room. I was absolutely stunned. I left the discussion, called my doctor and three weeks later I was using a pump.

I hvae never once regretted that decision. I told my doctor I just could not be that far out of touch with the leading edge of technology. Yes it is a big thing to consider, but for me at least it was the right thing and I am so glad I did. 12 years later I still regard that day as one of the best things I have ever done.

I know you will make the right decision for you and I wish you will my friend.
